Reach for the sky

The aviation job world.
What we offer you

You will find everything directly related to aviation and air traffic control here. This starts with our Academy, which is responsible for training air traffic controllers and where the important operational issues are resolved. These might, for example, include procedures planning, regulations and data management.

This also includes planning and structuring the airspace and the aerodromes themselves. You will experience exciting challenges every day – accompanied by the good feeling of having made an important contribution to safety in air traffic with your work.

Your future:
safety in the sky

Become part of our close-knit team:

Our divisions

Air traffic services (ATS) that work precisely are the basis of safety in aviation. Secure information processing, the UX design of ATS systems and air traffic controller working positions or system tests fall within your area of responsibility.

The conditions are established here to ensure that everything runs smoothly in the control tower and centre: from staff planning for operational services, through management of the operational project portfolio, all the way up to collection, processing and provision of air traffic data.

Safety in aviation is our core competency, and you have an exciting agenda here: Support in all matters relating to safety & security; further development of methods & procedures in safety management at both the national and international level. Starting to become curious?

Civil-military cooperation is also constantly monitored, coordinated and further developed within the scope of air traffic management. A topic for all those who like to plan precisely, act in a structured way and always maintain an overview.

At the Academy, everything revolves around the training & further training for our air traffic controllers. We also provide support for all dual courses of studies and other training options.

Some examples of our projects

Next generation tower

We are working on a future-proof air traffic control system for control towers. The aim here is to provide air traffic controllers with a harmonised interface that is tailored to their needs and offers optimum support for their work. We are also repositioning ourselves from a technical perspective with a service-orientated IT architecture.

Ergonomics at air traffic controller working positions

Air traffic controller working positions require a consistently high level of ergonomic quality to ensure that our controllers have the best possible working conditions. The lighting situation, the acoustics in the room and the properties of the screens used are therefore regularly checked and, where necessary, adjusted.
