Technical apprenticeship: IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration)

Our work in air navigation services is both digital and networked. To ensure safety in the skies, our computers and servers need to work perfectly at all times. This is precisely where you come in. During your training, you will learn how to set up PC systems, rectify faults, advise users and enhance our IT systems. In this way, you will make an important contribution to ensuring that all departments are working together to achieve our common goal: guiding aircraft safely to their destination.

What you will learn with us

Immerse yourself in the world of bits and bytes at DFS and become an IT professional. We teach the practical business basics, as well as computer and digital technology, while obviously also conveying a vast amount of solid IT expertise. For example, you can set up our employees' PC systems, help with IT problems and provide training on new systems.

As part of your training, you will work in various project teams and familiarise yourself with the varied world of an IT specialist for air traffic control. Would you like to learn more? Then why not come to our online IT & engineering taster session?

Excellent secondary school leaving certificate (equivalent to the German Realschulabschluss) with good marks in maths and German 
Or some form of upper secondary school leaving certificate (equivalent to the German Fachabitur or Abitur)
