Your future can also take off with our IT

IT job world:
What we can offer you

Modern air traffic control requires reliable, high-performance IT. In our interdisciplinary teams, we develop and operate complex systems and solutions: from IT project management and IT system management, through software development, all the way up to software licence management.

We have our own Systems House and a future-orientated innovation and research division. If you are looking for tasks where the sky is the limit, you are in the right place. A scientific or technical course of study, such as computer science, communications engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, software engineering or similar is a great starting point, accompanied by a team in which you are made to feel very welcome.

We do our own development.
At the DFS Systems House

With around 230 employees, our Systems House provides all software-based products and systems for DFS. We design, plan and develop our own products, while also integrating products from other manufacturers. Our applications support our air traffic controllers in their work every single day, from staff scheduling to the systems that display all the relevant data of radar targets. Our air traffic control products are also used successfully outside DFS by many national and international air navigation service providers.

To this end, we work closely with the various divisions within DFS and other aviation stakeholders. High-performance and reliable IT modules with high-availability are required here, and we deliver them – as a team.

An environment that provides a tailwind

The working atmosphere in our IT division is relaxed. Our working relationships are characterised by a focused approach, respectful support and a lively exchange of ideas. This enables us to achieve better results as a team.

We meet regularly for joint activities and, when a job really goes well, we also enjoy celebrating this together.
